Join our local and certified hiking guide Georg on a journey of discovery to the secrets of the Dolomites. Five times a week we offer free guided hikes. Sign-up is not required – simply show up and enjoy!

5 times a week, he will show you the most beautiful trails and impressive views of the Dolomites, and he is also available to our guests for planning their individual mountain adventures.

Alpine barbecue at the foot of Sassolungo

Via Ferrata & Climbing

In collaboration with the legendary mountaineering school Catores, you can book and discover a variety of climbing opportunities in Val Gardena and the surrounding mountains.

Climb the steep rocks of the Dolomites and be inspired by the well-marked via ferratas of the region. On climbing tours, you will experience South Tyrol from completely new perspectives.

In South Tyrol seven different golf courses are waiting for you. From Mediterranean to high alpine all variations are represented. Not far from Ortisei lies the Golf Club Castelrotto-Alpe di Siusi: surrounded by ponds, gorges and fascinating waterfalls, golfing in the Dolomites becomes a real adventure here.

In autumn, the low sun creates a special evening light and the Alpen glow transforms the pale Dolomite mountains into glowing rocks, making them appear to be on fire. We call this unique natural spectacle the “Burning Dolomites”, attracting many tourists in this time of the year.
